Merry (late) Christmas

Just thought I should probably write since I haven't in a while. Sorry about that.
My Christmas was wonderful. It was great to spend time with family and celebrate the birth of Christ. Some of the family woke up early and took care of our animals, then woke the rest of us up (or at least got us up) and we opened presents. We do Christmas different in the sense that we get presents that will help us come closer to Christ. I got a sign that says "Prepare to meet God", among other things. We also have a tradition of going to brunch at my grandparents house on Christmas day. We have such a big meal and a great time. After that we visited my other grandparents, came home and lounged... watched movies and vegged out.

And we had a white Christmas. Did you know that a white Christmas does not just mean that you have snow on the ground but that it actually snows on Christmas day? I learned that from my all-knowing Aunt at brunch. So here a couple pictures of our white Christmas!! Isn't it beautiful? (They were taken from the car. I apologize for the blurriness. )

Fun weekend

Last week we went to our good friends, the Bergesons. It was a fun filled weekend with movies, games, great food and good company. The adults talked while all the kids watched movies and played (mostly air hockey). We laughed, we relaxed. Some stayed up far into the night (and even into the wee hours of day) just talking. Chad (the dad) cooked all the terrific meals. There was shopping sprees. Oh, and blogging. All in all, a wonderful weekend.
