If we had no winter, the spring would not be so pleasant; if we did not sometimes taste of adversity, prosperity would not be so welcome. ~Anne Bradstreet

Last week we had beautiful weather of about 60 to almost 80 degrees!! Now there is snow on the ground. My last seminary teacher calls it a "spring teaser." It sure makes you want spring to some a whole lot sooner! But, look on the bright side, if it weren't for winter (and the snow), you wouldn't be so glad for spring!!!
"It's spring fever. That is what the name of it is. And when you've got it, you want - oh, you don't quite know what it is you do want, but it just fairly makes your heart ache, you want it so!"
~Mark Twain
p.s. I absolutely love great quotes... so every day for a week (or so) I'm going to post wonderful spring quotes! I hope you enjoy them!

Yesterday my family and I went to the Draper open house. What an amazing experience!!!
I was in awe walking through it because of the beauty in the temple. Temples are such wonderful places. They are the house of the Lord and are the most beautiful places in the world. You can just tell it is God's house.
There is such a wonderful feeling there. A feeling like home, like you belong. There is a peace you usually don't feel in the world. You just know that God does live. You know that He loves you and that you are His child. How could it be otherwise? It feels too right to be wrong!!
I know that the church is true. I know that we have temples so that we can grow closer to God. I know that He lives!!

I just finished reading Jane Austen's "Pride and Prejudice". I enjoyed it so much!! I've watched the BBC version tons of times (and really like it) but this is my first time actually reading and finishing it. I just loved it. What an absolutely wonderful book!!!
